Future Aspiration

Yesterday we had a future aspiration talk. It was boring until we started talking about fitness and getting money. we listened to lots of people talk about their jobs and what they do. They tried to inspire us to do something awesome, like not live a life that was created but to live your own life.

Mosa Mafileo was the most fun to listen to because he could tell us about his job in a fun way for people our age. He gave us a dollar if we could answer his questions like what culture was he, why he died his hair (because his hair used to be grey.)

We were all buzzing out when we heard about Tristan Pang. a twelve year old boy who is going to university next year AT 13 YEARS OLD. He is a real REAL Brainy kid that excels in mathematics and science he was buzzing.

Over all I rate it a 7/10.

I want to carry on kick boxing when I get older and become a professional kick boxer.

Auckland vs Syria

I wake up to the sound of sizzling bacon as I lift my warm covers off my body. I wander into the kitchen knowing that I won’t be hungry. I walked to school knowing I would be safe. “I love my life.” I said to myself.

I woke up to the sound of gun bullets. Little bits of debris fall from our roof. My mother who was really tired, endlessly tried to put my little brother to sleep.  “I am hungry and I need to stay alive to protect my family” I think to myself. “But, Is life worth all of this?.”

On my way to school I found a ten dollar note lying on the floor. “Ohhh” I said to myself. “It’s my lucky day”. I’m at school wondering how good we've got it.

The lunch bell rang and we ran to the hall. Iron Brian was at our school handing out free burgers. “Man we’re lucky.”

I dive to shelter my brother who was sitting underneath an unstable part of the house, a bit of the roof fell. Man how come it’s me protecting my family.? It’s lunch time and all we’ve got is a little bit of bread. Man I am cold and have no clothes. I start thinking. “When will this war come to rest and peace be found.”

I hopped out of the car and ran into the lounge. I dived for the remote. We just got back from the beyonce concert. We had Carls Jr for dinner just before we went. I had a double western combo Large and a Large Mint oreo milk shake. Im full and tired so i hop into bed and drift off. “Good night Mum, Night Dad.”

I dragged my exhausted body to my bed (a flat rock) and pulled my cover over me (a big old t-shirt.) my little brother was screaming. I took my cover off and grabbed my brother off my mum so she could have a rest. He finally went down and I went to sleep... BANG a gun bullet fired and my brother woke up. “When will this all end...?”

Jack and Ray were at the rugby. Ray’s team was winning
so Jack decided to give Ray a problem to deflate his ego a
bit. So Jack said “Did you know that today is my three
sons’ birthday?” “How old are they?” Ray asked taking
the bite. “I’ll give you a hint. The product of their ages is
36 and the sum of their ages is 13,” Jack replied. “That’s
no help,” said Ray. So Jack weakened and gave him
another clue. “O.K. My youngest son is very naughty.”
“Nothing to it,” exclaimed Ray and he told Jack the
correct ages of his sons.
How did Ray figure out the correct age of his sons

Three Little Hobbits

Once upon a time, there lived Three Little Hobbits. Their names were Fa and Tee and they had a older brother called Foi living in an asylum. lived with their mum in an old cottage in the forest. One day the three little hobbits mum decided that they were now too old to live with her. So they decided to go their separate ways and build their own houses.

The oldest hobbit (Fa) went to Pak n Save and bought a ton of steak and then headed into the maybury bush. He started to build his house out of meat. He thought that he might be able to attract animals to his house so that he could trap them for food.

Meanwhile the youngest hobbit (Winnie) was running from an asylum cutting down trees to make his hut out of wood. Half way through the job he was about to place a piece of bark onto his roof & accidently slid the bark across his hand and got a really deep splinter & had a mental breakdown. Since Foi is in deep depression he stops building his house and leaves into the forest.

Tee goes into the forest to find wood to make a fire, while looking Tee comes across Foi’s house. Tee see’s that Foi’s house is unfinished and feels bad, he then continues to finish building Foi’s house. When he finishes building the house he decides to stay there.

The old man is walking through the forest when he suddenly comes across Foi’s house. He is so jealous that the house is beautiful that he decides to blow it down. The old man tries his best to blow the house down but fails because he has asthma, so he uses his inhaler. The old man blows the house down and leaves the scene in fear of getting caught.

He then goes back to the retirement village and on the way loses his breath, he reaches for his inhaler and presses the pump button. The pump button releases no air which means that the asthma pump is now finished, he used all the air in the inhaler when he blew down the house. “Ahhh CHOO Ahh CHOO help help HELP” yells the old man, he then falls to the ground and shakes and eventually dies. His body was left to rot and was eaten by maggots.

A Little Slice of hope

Today we were lectured by Joshua Iosefo. We learnt a lot about spoken word and speaking from the heart. Our voice is valuable and can change the face of something or even the world. I am a NSW Fan for state of origin. I choose to talk about how corrupted state of origin is.

NSW can win the 2013 State of Origin in the forwards, but Queensland will probably beat them in the backs and make it eight series wins in a row.  NSW Blues 2013 State of Origin squad: who missed out? The one key ingredient the Maroons always get correct is that they select the best players available in their positions, something the Blues continue to stuff up. NSW can only hope to defeat this amazing Queensland team if they have the best players in their positions and ensure they have enough x-factors to combat Greg Inglis, Billy Slater, Justin Hodges, Cooper Cronk, Johnathan Thurston and Cameron Smith. The side listed below has failed to meet those requirements and is not the best possible side, but very similar to what I would expect Ricky Stuart to field if he had not been replaced by his mate Laurie Daley. The major Maroon advantage is in their spine, with perhaps the greatest combination ever including Slater (1), Thurston (6), Cronk (7) and Smith (9).

My Device was stuffing up. It always freezes and turns off automatically. My mates were messing around and it felt like I had to do everything.

Green Hat - What was something interesting about this week.

I Never knew that we would finish this movie on time. it turned out in the end We did.

White Hat - What did I learn.

Nothing much. I just learnt how to manage myself and cope under pressure.

Blue Hat - What can I do better next time.
Just make sure my mates work better and maybe choose some better ones.

The Chase

it was a cold, dark, gloomy night. I stumbled upon an abandoned hut deep in the heart of the forest. I was just about to enter the hut when suddenly...I heard a bang. I turned to my left where it came from and saw that it was just the door. turn back now... said a sign on the corridor door OR suffer  Eager to find out what was going on, despite the fact that I might suffer, I carried on my walk down the hallway.

I saw sparks down in the basement. I took a deep breath “pheeeew” and followed on with my tracks to see a person. The person looked like a surgeon. Like one of those scary surgeons on horrors. I felt like  turning back and leaving. Demonic laughters could be heard through the basement door. I couldn’t get the sign out of my head.

I opened the door relieved that it didn’t creak. I took one step down and it creaked but he couldn’t hear me. I  jumped on the wall like a spider crawl and walked across the wall. The trouble was dropping off the wall without making noise. I took my chances and BOOM!!! I crashed onto the floor. The surgeon looked at me with a skill saw in his hand. I stood up and the CHASE WAS ON.

I ran back up the stairs down the hallway and out the door. through the forest and boom!!! *** I hit a tree while I turned back to see if he was still chasing me I found that he was far but running fast.

I thought and hid under a bush and saw a hedgehog I got scared and backed up into a tree. It sounded hollow so I kicked it in. I climbed in. Out the corner of my eye, I saw a hunter's trap it was a trip wire. I followed the string and it triggers a pad that pushes the animal into the tree I was standing in I thought to myself and looked down I was just in front of another wire which led up  to carved out spikes made out of stones I looked up and said “Holy Moly. I almost died.”
I walked out and stood in front of the first  trip wire and waited for the surgeon and before you know it, he comes running at me. “Good bye.” I said happily he stood there “huh?” and charged forward It was over. but now I know that Im never walking into an abandoned hut ever again.

Who You Gonna Call

Living in an obese town a fat mean snobby ghost stole food from every food restaurant, night and day. Everyday the fat snobby ghost kept stealing food and grew inch by inch. One day a couple of cops swung by up at his snobby house. “Where Is He!” This ghost can turn invisible so the cops have been looking everywhere. where could he be? The search is on. They were thinking and thinking about how we could get that snobby ghost. They had to get FBI or ghost busters. One cop died then 2 FBI died. People were scared. Because of that it looked like there was no hope for us. But we needed to do something. A smart person thought of a vacum. Until Finally the ghost busters came with their vacums. And went inside the house to look for the snobby ghost. They caught him in the living room. Ever since they caught the ghost, the place had never been better. The moral of the story is never to commit crime and try to hide.

Apply The Sauce!

“WOOOOO”! Spongebob Screamed at the top of his lungs well surfing the wild wet waves at goo lagoon. He fell off knowing he had done a great job. Patrick glued his feet to the board so he won’t fall off and it was time to ride the barreling waves! Riding he yelled I will not be separated, I will not be separated. He was determined to carve up this wave and make it to the end. “ROOOCK.” Patrick screamed he smashed into it with a loud thud and.... tore from his body and his skin followed they both fell on the beach. his skeleton saw some of the surfboard glued to his feet and called out “nice sandals.” “thanks.” replied the skin of Patrick.

My Belief in Easter

The meaning of having chocolate eggs is not about indulging yourself but new life or second life to be exact. Christians believe that the egg symbolises jesus’s resurrection and that life may win over death.

As you crack the egg open it symbolises the empty tomb he rose from. Nobody knows when the eggs became chocolate and used for celebrating but it happened a long time after jesus’s death.

Surfing Dog

It was just an ordinary day at our local beach. It was hot and still. Even the surf looked tired. A dog Sampson and Smiley his owner went for a swim. Sampson went for a surf as well. It was normal to watch him surf. But not for other people. Few hours later... A busload of japanese tourists came and pulled out their cameras. They were astounded. Seeing that small dog surf froze them for a minute then... flash FLASH FLASH FLASH! Sampson was famous.

Suddenly Sampson fell off the board because he was blinded from the flashes. Sampson cut his leg badly and it poured out with blood. It turned a patch of water red. Then suddenly. Suddenly a patch of blue came swimming. Swimming by Sampson. Then. A SHARK JUMPED OUT OF THE WATER, MOUTH WIDE OPEN MISSING SAMPSON BY A SKIN FLAP.

He was scared as hell. He swam and panicked. He was Petrified. the tourists came to their senses and threw rocks the shark was frightened and swam.

The poor dog Sampson went to the vet. and his owner. he was frightened about what is going to happen to his dog. On the other hand, sampson made it to the news and was front page of all leading newspapers.

One ordinary day changed their lives that day forward.

Black Hole.

Bzzzz, Bzzzz. The printer was printing in John’s work office. It was another boring work day until.... Until the printer strangely printed a piece of paper with nothing but a black circle.
John had a drink of water and dropped his cup into the black circle and noticed it fell through. He reached in and grabbed it. His eyes grew wide.He was amazed and it made his work day at work BETTER.

John found a vending machine and taped it to the window and stuck his hand through then he pulled out a Snickers Bar. He saw the companys safe and walked towards it.

John taped the black hole to the safe, reached in and felt around inside. He took out a bundle of cash.  With his greed level high, John kept taking out bundles until he felt no more.

He crawled in to see what was left inside.  Suddenly the tape wore out and it fell.
John was stuck inside the safe and he was shocked. He tapped and knocked, But it was night and nobody was there.

I think he got what he deserved and hope nobody finds him. I think he would have been happy because he had his snickers bar. His boss probably found the safes money and would have opened it. John might have been saved. His job might not be.

Dangling rope

Non-Puller : If There was a string dangling from the sky would you pull it not knowing it causes something to happen in the world. I wouldn’t pull it no matter how curious or tempted

Here is my opinion, I wouldn’t just in case it does cause something for all I know it could be tied to a meteorite and you could pull it to earth. It could cause a natural disaster. That is why I would not pull it.

If there was a string from the sky I would pull it because I am a risk taker and I would be curious to pull it and see what it does. Thats why I would Pull it.

Step, Pass, Run I boosted it to the try line and try First try of the hour. We were playing touch for sports at school I played in a team of sixteen against a team of 14 it was unfair but the team we were versed won. We played a good game. my friend Rocky dummied the ball and ran straight through a gap but got touched by one of our star players Potaua. The game ended with a whiff of defeat for our team. It was the best game of touch played with three balls! The score was ten to the opposing team and for us ten and a half. I'm just playing it was ten to nine.

Best Day At The Beach!!!

Struggling to walk to the Point England beach with my family in the blood boiling weather. I dragged the chilly bin all the way to the beach. My younger brother waved and yelled “loving the wind.” As he went past in the car. I sighed and dragged the chilly bin along.

We finally got to the beach and to my amazement I was cooled down by the rush of excitement circulating through my body! “Yes.” I yelled and ran to the groyne lying in the centre of the water, I jumped off it and bombed. I stayed there for about an hour and came up to have lunch.

I played on the park for a while spinning, climbing, jumping, running, swinging and falling. I was exhausted for a bit so I ran to the beach again. It was then I noticed that the tide was out so I walked all the way out and swam and jumped far out off the bough.

We are all finally home refreshed and tired stayed up on the computer all night watching clips on youtube. It was The best weekend yet.

Lollipop Moments

We watched an inspiring video on youtube called lollipop moments and a man was in the video, he talked leaders and being a leader is not about having power and money but how you can change a life by doing a single act. he told the audience about this one time he changed a girls life.

She was thinking she would not survive in university and told her parents. her parent’s said we’ll see how it is on your first day and if you do not like it we can go home. she was waiting in a line to be enrolled and she knew she couldn’t handle it ,so she turned to her parent’s, then a man walked out of a door holding a charity sign and a bucket full of lollipops. he handed them out to people. It was then she saw the girl, he told the man standing next to the girl to hand a lollipop to her he blushed turned away and held the lollipop out . it was then she really wanted to go to university. four years later she started dating the guy, a year and a half more they were married. That one lollipop moment changed the girl and boys life
that day forward.

One way I can create a lollipop moment is by showing appreciation for their achievements and helping out with things they struggle with.
